OK, lets try to figure out the problem. Please answer to following questions:

1) Can you see the incubus cam on the blue button?
2) When you choose the incubus cam and activate it, does it say "cam active" somewhere?
3) The dreambox you are connecting to, what version of cccam does it use?
4) Are you sure the Dreambox is correctly set up? Did you connect to this server before with another dreambox?
5) The two c line are sensitive to gaps, it should be EXACTLY like this, with the @ and the : and everything exactly like the sample below:
if john is your user name, and your password is thisismypassword, and the dyndns address of the dreambox you are connecting to is kickass.kickasserver.com

answering the questions:
1.yes the incubuscam 0.55 is in the blue button menu
2.it is activated with the green button: cam active. I press OK but when back again it is no more active
3.used cccam 2.1.0 version.it works fine on my satellite card (skystar HD2)using FLYCCCAM and also on dreambox of a friend.
the Qboxhd I have seems to be well set up.it has the last image(mai,13-2009),the boot version is 1.1.2
I have noticed that the example gently given there is a space between the zeros in 120 00 or it should be 12000.
I also want to know if I have to write first part of the line:card_server_url_0=cccam://

totally forgot you can try latest ver of rqcamd 1.24 which has been adapted to work on st processors and works on ipbox9000 and azboxhd so should work on qbox as well but i have not tested it so can't tell i'm happy with m*ox ;)

3.used cccam 2.1.0 version.it works fine on my satellite card (skystar HD2)using FLYCCCAM and also on dreambox of a friend.

1) You need to use an earlier version of cccam on your dreambox, 2.1.0 does not work with the incubus.

I have noticed that the example gently given there is a space between the zeros in 120 00 or it should be 12000.

No space, 12000.
Also, no space between any of the letters or numbers:

card_server_url_0=cccam://john:thisismypassword@kickass.kickasserver.com:120

YES, write it EXACTLY as I showed you, simply put in the name, password and dyndns account name


The yes from the c: line in the Dreambox is not needed.

SORRY FOR MY MISTAKE: posting details. I appreciate the cover-up given to them.you may understand that it was to help you deal with real elements to help solve my problem but the rules are the rules.
until now there is no progress with the Qbox I have.I've got a DM800 hd ,much better,from a friend and wait if there are better days from Doulabs.

Thanks a lot for Ur help.this box has no support for that cam.I'd like to see how to get mbox working.qboxhd has it.is it cwshare (gbox) and if it works fine :no hungs!
For now I'm using DM800 waiting future solution to come from Doulabs for this kind of a box!NO cccam NO Diablo working.NO connection with my local network which DMbox did for the first plug in.now it's quaranteened unless T-G,very helpful,or U or someone else find some medecin.
So, my sympathy to U all.

Hi to all
Since I got that new sw boot +image for Qboxhd I tried to upgrade it BUT the box now reboots and the front panel remains blank.not even the START image on the tv screen.I'm affraid I blocked it.
If someone could give some advice with simple words on how to recover it would be heartly appreciated.

try to load the new bootsoftware again. Put on a new image on a USB stick and load up the new image. Maybe this will do it...

Do not bother, this image is even worse than previous one (at least for me), there is a divx player and that is about it.
After loading it could not get channel to work (tune fail) or (no data on transponder) and constant crashes after channel change.
So i've loaded old boot (19_03_09) and image (13_05_09) back along with new dexter plugin(1_3) and waiting for future releases - which i hope will be better than this one if not qboxhd goes to.... RUBBISH BIN ;)

The qbox is OK now.the image was to be sent in using a new pendrive ! Now it also has the dexter 1-3 in.
Next step for me is go along with TG recommendatios for CS.incubus should now work.I will tell.

This box drives me crazy
1.Since first setup thé network test shows "local disconnected" the LAN cable is OK cos Dreambox shows connected.web interface says no plugin found.while updating using qboxupdater via LAN works.
My modem -router is an Ovis Link.

2.after sending 2 c-lines FTP to box exactly as TG said I can't find it on the box as it happens with DMbox.NO config to edit.
Asking for help if possible.thanks

Did you set up in your router a permanent IP address for the Qbox??
I never had any problems with the network setting, you don't need to do anything. Give the box a permanet id, connect the lan and reboot. The qbox will automatically recognise the ip address.

with Dresmbox"cccam info" or "incubus info "?

When activating the cam(incubus) in the blue button menu it doesn't
remain open .only Rqcamd remains started!
Is this another bug ?

Another bug or do I something wrong?I think if the box can't be

I'd really be thankful sorting these natemare bugs of this beta box.
How can it be so uneasy when it has almost the same sw as the Dreambox?
it's said around that it's compared to dream8000,twice the price!
Duolabs has to do more and better!

All I can say Santo, is that the box is still a beta box. A lot of hardware and software issues need to be resolved - but they are doing it.

The card sharing and internet works - I have been using it myself. I am not sure what the problem is with your setup - I got mine to work almost immediately without a problem.

Best thing is to wait a little until they sort out the problems.

If you set "log_to_file -on" in incubus.conf then you'll be able to see debug file via ftp and then you can check if you are connected to the server or not

I think there is a problem in your incubus.conf and incubus does not start, that is why you can not see it in the emu menu

Try to start incubus from telnet session and let us know what does it says

The ip on the front pannel is not important, if you can access your box via telnet or ftp that means the box is on local network and if you use DHCP(or have got all the settings ok)then it can connect to the internet

It says on my local net... disconnected but i can watch youtube and access the box from WAN

Has anyone managed to find a cam that works with softcams and keys? It seems everyone is concentrating on cardsharing, but I would really like toplay with some keys and watch DigiTV on west 1...tried a few things but no cigar
