Help Required Really slow loading problem.

Just realised that after I disabled Javascript in Chrome, that made it impossible to "Quote" a previous message, ad so just had to find out to, and then, re-enable it!

Thus, I think "we (and certainly "I") have had enough "internet snow" for 2020!!

Thx - got it, but now I've lost all access to the menu bar for text formatting, emoticons and so on. How can I fix that?

I'm afraid you have to go old school and learn all the formatting tags

That's a "bridge too far" for me - so had to reenable Javascript

^^^ Yes, killing all java will more, less or completely kill websites as well. F.ex. try Youtube without javascript :O)

Do a speed test. My download is 230.12 Mbps tested with Ookla.

Here on VM 100Mbs broadband the wireless-connected small 2012-2013 Vivobook laptop is maxing out its dual core CPU whereas the cable-connected 2016 HP Elitedesk G2's quad core 4th Gen pentium CPU is hardly even breaking into a sweat - so I think it is probably more CPU-power, rather than broadband, related.
