I see. Anyway, if you say that the sensitivity is comparable to the Topfield 5000 then it is in the upper league.

including a real chassi compared to Dreambox cheap plastic chassi and faulty power supplies and weak tuner,

@likvid are you referring to the new Alps tuner that is in the new dreambox 7020s. i found it to be the best tuner i have ever used. is the 400 tuner that much better?

cheers

Don't know if it was the Alps tuner or not in mine.

Every receiver is better than Dreambox on the market when it comes to the tuner....

Maybe the new DM7025s will be better, don't know, but i wouldn't risk 699 euro for it, its too expensive as well for what you get.

O.K. what does the keyboard look like for this, looking at the pictures I dont see a PS2 or a USB for getting in Terminal, built in infrared? Is it based on RedHat which seems to be popular these days?

According to their website "Embedded Linux (Kernel 2.6.9)", I would have thought they have a tailored image for the box that is nice and small. 2.6.9 is not bleeding edge but its pretty new...

Paul.
