On my desk, I used to have a no-name LCD TV, which had a surprising amount of connectivity, including audio and video output out of its SCART connector. It even allowed me to connect my Videocrypt decoder to it, as if it was a satellite receiver. I also used it to connect to my TV capture card...
Today, I bought a new Samsung TV 933HD, which also has a bog-standard SCART connector (without the need to use that horrible dongle), but I am not getting any output out of it. Either audio or video. It seems to be input-only. Is that normal in a TV? Maybe some hidden option somewhere?
