I just had a look at settings in my Humax Foxsat .. and within the hidden menu ( see post 1 for how to access) there is an option to change the L.N.B frequency to 5150 .. so yes it should be possible to make it work for C band ... i have not tried this myself yet ... just looked at the menus ...

The (tiny) Freesat V7 HD has a good tuner - blind search - and usb recording ability and at £20.00 including
postage from online auction sites - is a real bargain .. i,v been using one for the past 6 months,
