It doesn't matter which coloured wire you connect, providing you connect the same wire, from your motor, to the same connection on your V-Box II.

Mkae a note, of which coloured wire, is connected to which control. the only problem, you'll discover, is the M1, M2 connections, has you might have to change these, in your V-Box II, after you've first connected, all the wires, try moving your dish East, then check your dish, to see if it is moving East, if not move it back to the staring point, by pressing the West button, and then swap the M1, and M2 wires round, on your V-Box II, writing down which coloured wires go where, for future reference, as at some point you might need to disconnect them, to clean, decorate, etc.., so keep the information handy, maybe tape it to you box.

When you get your V-Box II, and Motor, everything will make sense.

Um i am using the forum and ur still moaning at me!! i didnt get it explained in a way i can understand so im asking publicly !!!!

theres NO Videos on youtube of this motor/installation/setup and if there was they would be outdated/crap quality audio/video and in a different language to english without subtitles etc to understand them, and theres NO NEED TO KEEP BEING RUDE TO ME ABOUT THIS SUBJECT!!!, U SAID TO ASK I ASKED, U SAID TO LOOK IN FORUM I LOOKED, NOW IM ASKING AGAIN FOR HELP DUE TO THERE NOT BEING ANY DECENT INFO/VIDEOS DO U UNDERSTAND ME!!
Unfortunately it is overreactions like this that will put forum members off from helping you in the future. General installation questions should be asked on the forum and not via PM to individual members. Don't expect to be spoon fed every little detail when the information is already available on the forum.

Installation and adjustment of this motor uses the same techniques as any other polar mount or DiSEqC 1.2 motor - elevation, declination and due south all need to be correct in order for the dish to track the arc accurately.

I understood the explanation by @Mickha.

If you had a v-box and Moteck H180 motor in front of you with the case cover removed ready to connect it should be obvious from the internal wiring diagram how it is connected.
Have you removed the case cover from the Moteck H180 motor to look at the wiring diagram and the connector layout?

The principle of wiring up a Moteck H180 motor to a v-box is the same as that for a Jaeger 1224 motor to a v-box. If you cant find anything for the Moteck H180 then perhaps check how to connect a Jaeger 1224 motor to a v-box. The Jaeger 1224 motor was and still is a very popular H-H motor.

As regards installation of the dish/motor on the arc, there should be information about this for the Jaeger 1224 on the forum.
I am fairly sure I typed one out a few years ago in reply to a question from someone about it. The procedure for a Moteck H180 is the same as for a Jaeger 1224.

'ere, cop fer this.

Do not come back asking me any more questions on this topic.
With your current attitude you are lucky that I have helped you this far.

By definition, if you were asking everyone on the forum for help I would be included, hence my reply earlier.
Not a problem though, good luck with your installation of the motor, I think you may need it.

Have you got a manual, with the motor, telling you what the 4 active connectors are? I can't see any markings, or a sticker, with a wiring diagram, in the pictures, unless they are stamped, on the plastic connectors.

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
I have questions for you, how far away from the motor control box (Vbox) is the motor?
And what gauge are the wires in that cable?
If the wires are too small (16 gauge, 20 gauge) and the dish/motor is more then 10 to 20 meters away, you may have problems when the motor first starts up, this due to heavy DC current starting draw from the motor.

Most large standard satellite motor installs need or use a special cable, it has 2 small conductors for the sensor connections and 2 large (14 gauge to 12 gauge) wires for the motor. (some may also have a coax embedded in them)

Yes, he was told to use the forum by myself and others rather than using PM. Hopefully he has got the message now!
He has also been told to stick with the original thread for the installation, rather than start another each time something new arrives in the post.

The o/p should advise which one to close (to keep the forum running efficiently) by return.

Quality motor cable used to have a foil shield surrounding the two/three sensor wires.
