My Satellite Setup
Sky Dish Connected to TCL Android TV.
My Location
South East England
I've moved into a property where by the last occupant has had a Sky installation.

There are two cables which come into the room, I've tried both of these plugged into the TV and do an automatic scan which seems to bring me anything and everything beside UK TV. If I perform a manual scan using ASTRA 28.2E I just seem to pick up 7 versions of ITV, is someone able to give some guidance on performing a better manual scan.

The options I have available are -

Satellite : Astra 28.2E
Position: A or B
LNB Power: On (If I turn this off I love all signal)
LNB Frequency: 9750_10750, 9750_10700, 5150, 5750, 9750, 10600, 10750, 11250, 1130, 11475,Universal
DisEqC input: Disable (Can't change this whilst LNB power is On)
UniCable: On (Again if I disable this, I get no signal.) There are also additional settings for Unicable
Tone22KHz : Off
Tone Burst: Disable
Frequency: 10774444KHz
Symbol Rate: 22000KB/s
Polarization: Horizontal Or Vertical

Any help greatly apprecicated!

The LNB is probably a Sky Q wideband type, it will need to be changed for a universal one. The usual recommendation is a Sky mk4 Quad LNB which should be a straight swap.

That LNB will be fine. There are more FTA HD channels on satellite, the only plus for Freeview IMO is it has WildEarth TV. There's a theory that current HD channels on Freeview may disappear around 2027 (IIRC) in order to ween people off terrestrial television and usher them onto streaming. If your television isn't Freesat branded it will only have now&next programme information for satellite channels.

If the cut parts of your aerial cable haven't been exposed to water it should be okay to reuse them, I'd put connectors on the cut ends and use a joiner.
