I confirm that it's the Sky News not the international one and BBC World.

BBC World is not available from 28E.

So it isn't possible for the UK or RoI Version of Sky News to be on the same Satellite as BBC World.

As others have said, you are probably actually aligned to 19.2E.

Because frequencies are re-used, the chance are that some of the frequencies stored in your 28E list are the same as some on 19E, so when you are pointed at 19E and scan 28E, you will detect some of the 19E Channels.

Sky News International is the same as Sky News except for the lack of Adverts.

Just to make absolutely certain, please list a couple of other Channels that you do actually get.

From flysat, 11720 on 28E carries Sky Sports 2 HD and a couple of other Encrypted Channels; 11720 on 19.2E carries Sky Deutchsland Encrypted stuff; 11720 on Hotbird (closest TP is 11728) carries Spanish Channels and a few other irrelevant ones.

So, I am confused!

Edit: Hmm. On 19.2E, Sky News Int is on 10832 and BBC World is on 11597.



Please do list the remaining Channels you are actually getting. I may have to lie down in a darkened room ................. MATRON !!

Surely FTA should be ON to allow scanning of Free To Air channels
SKY News frequency is 12207 V
SYMBOL RATE SR should be 27,500 or 27.5
FEC should be 2/3


I suspect you are unfamiliar with the operation of your stb

The closest I can find is Sky News International on 7W, 11804 H 27500 3/4.
Perhaps you should try adding channels, using the menu option, and do a search for channels on 19.2E, and other satellites, just to try and confirm which satellite you're on.

Thank you very much for your advices.
At the moment my brother try to find the exact position of the satellite and he changed the FTA because he said to me that it's very hard to use it because you have different packages. The FTA he had used named "Angel". Now he is going to change it by another one less complicated. He is a beginner with satellite but he learn quickly.
