sky calcio prepaid cards 12mth

I went via the Italian Route, so it was the 189Euro Card.

Took about 5 days to get here, but he has been helpful with any queries I've had.
I didn't think the Error code was anything to do with voltages, but more to do with Sky IT knowing it wasn't in an original box?

Anyway, I'll be keeping mine in the original box for the time being, as I've just spent the last couple of weeks running extra cables etc, got HDMI Combiner, and more Feeds of the dishes.

Which one did you go for?

does anyone know when the guida is updated for the calcio channels as nothing is listed for the weekends football yet

On the Calcio Info channel it says what matches are on?
Not sure if you can view that without a card.

Will have a look when I get home.

can you see if the Bolton v united game is listed as I don't have espn.

I do know the man city game is on sky supercalcio channel that's in the listings, I don't have my card n box yet.

thanks, I had a look on the calcio info channel because it is fta on 12616h and couldn't see anything but checked the guida and it has been updated.

not received my box and card yet from my uk supplier, he has offered me a 13mth sport and calcio card with hd receiver for 500.

is that a good deal ?

I was going to go for a 6mth calcio card and sky italia hd receiver for 280 which he had on offer.

For mine I paid....

£60.51 for the HD Box
£165.75 for the Card Entertainment,Documentaries, and Sport
(which was about 11month it runs out End of July 2012)

All items were from Italy so took a while to get sent out.

As I say I'm having some problems getting the HD Channels but he's says he's going to activate them this week.
Still not got them yet.

I've not paid yet but what I've been offered includes all the sky sport channels and the 15 calcio channels but hes having issue with the supplier at the minute, so might order from the Italian person on eBay, he sends by ups now 3 days.

You can I think as that italian seller has prepaid card with all channels Inc sport, calcio and cinema for 680 on his eBay shop

it's taking too long through the uk seller so I'm tempted to order from Italy and pay the 40euro ups shipping.

Has your hd channels come back on ? you sure the card included the hd channels.

the card you bought I think there was no hd channels included just the 2 pack + calcio its too cheap for me to have that as well.

if there is no hd channels included that's fine for me as for the price paid we cant expect everything.

That's what I think too, last update he gave me he said Sky was doing something with the Encyption Changes.

Have read about alot of cards being killed in the last couple of days, so perhaps he's correct.
He did say that he would be putting them on this week, and asked for the Card Serial Number,
His exact message was

hi,
give me number of the card and next week the hd channel will be ok.
many thanks.

So just have to wait and see.
(Be nice if he can get it sorted by the weekend)

But compare to Tring last year the picture is so much better, even in SD!

That's the reason I'm not going to put my card in the VU+, and just use the Sky Reciever, shame as it would have been nice to have 1 less remote, 1 less box etc etc...

the uk seller has totally messed me around now taken over a week and still doesn't have the stock in.

anyway, did you read earlier on in this thread the cards come fully loaded once activated for a week so maybe you had this and then once the hd channels went off you are on the right package for that card you have ?

Do all the rest of the channels work fine ?

Tring, yes I was going to risk it but then saw these cards and this is a better option. tring picture quality i've not seen and probably is like how digitalb was couple of year back.

Yes saw that about the weeks worth of all.

I'm now just getting the Packs I requested. (Entertainment, Sport, Docs) I decided on the sport over calcio as I don't have Sky Sports on the UK, and it just gave me a bit more to what when footies not on!

That's the other good thing of this over Tring, there is more than just football to watch so it was a bit easier to sell to the Otherhalf!

I can't believe how many +1 +2 channels they have!!

Had Tring last year, it was ok when it worked, but after mine didn't work for the first 2 weeks this season for the 3pm's, so I didn't re-new but I've heard some are saying it's was updating ok again now.

Either way I'm happy with what I got for the money, but would be even better with the HD Channels as well!

I suspect this cheaper card doesn't have them and the more expensive card the 285 one does.
