Dear all,
As you've noticed in that last discussions on astra 2e middle east topic i'm new to the forum and i'm glad i joined it since it is very helpful!! Hello to all the hobbyists!
I own a satellite dish of 4.2 meters and i am based in cyprus. I've been following the all the topics about astra 2e and 2f so i know why i lost all the channels i lost and why i gained the ones i did.
My question is.. can i get more than that? My current setup is 4.2 meter dish 4 years old condition with invacom single + ADF 120. I lost many of the HD channels and that made me dissapointed.. also i lost sky movies action and many more now i only get the sky movies channels only on 2A beam. which are around 4 to 5 channels.
Is there a modification i can do? Get another feedhorn?? LNB??
I've seen many inverto black ultra converted to flange online.. is that going to help the situation??
p.s the reason i'm using the single invacom is because i accidentally ordered invacom quattro to begin with and then i bought a single one since it was cheaper.. Most of the install guys told me that the difference is not notticable now that BBC channels are not reachable. So i went with the single one.
I'm able to get 250 channels and the hd channels i get for example sky comedy hd is around 4,6 db.
Also take into consideration that i've retuned my dish yesterday with my current setup in order to reach the maximum signal possible after the changes of the two satellites.
Is there an lnb with more db power? that can help?
and finally can i get astra 19.2e with the same dish that is pointed on 28.2 with a bracket or an extention? i know astra 19.2 is fully reachable with smaller dishes in cyprus so will i have a problem if i have it with a bracket on my 4.2??
Any help appriciated!! Thanks in advance
And since i am new to the hobby is satlink ws-6932 any good for me ?? I'm searching for a life proof satellite finder which will be value for money and have the spectrum with the green mountains
p lol i think its called live spectrum im not sure... ![Smile :) :)](https://www.satellites.co.uk/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/smile.png)
