SkyStar 2 & ProgDVB & Win 98se2. How?

My Satellite Setup
Tecnomate 5500cip plus.
Dragon Cam & loader card.
Cards = M2, Blue tit, Gold, Fun 5.
Phenix and fun programmers.
Skystar 2.
80cm Dish.
36v motor.
Dual LNB.

Hi to all, as this is my 1st post on this forum.

I got myself a Skystar 2 pci card, and i am trying to get ProgDVB to work in Win98se2.
Please can someone tell me the Skystar2 pci card driver version i need and ProgDVB version i need?
Do i need other files?
My mate got his working on XPpro 1st time, but we cant get mine going with 98se2.
I really do need file version numbers please.

Fair ball to your mate getting it going on XP so easily, I had a lot of grief on XP home but up and running now. BEst of luck trying it on 98

Hi again to all.
I just tryed and tryed with Prog-DVB but no luck. Device not started all the time. So i installed ALT-dvb, and i must say is very good. Loaded and worked 1st time. Only problem is i cant record in Mpeg-2. It records in a *.ts format, but i cant find anything to playback or edit this format. Any help again would be brill.

Have a look in the Dreambox section, there is a thread there about playing and burning TS files.

I would still love to get ProgDVB going on my Win98se2.

OK - try this, I think the last non unicode version was ProgDvb 4.48.2.
Which ver are you running there ??? If it is later than 4.48.2, then you need an earlier release from the site. (www.ProgDvb.com)

Give that a spin. :D

Remember to uninstall everything first !! using the tool in the C:\progdvb folder.
