Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Yip, just like the BBC made a 3 second mention of the fact there's been 7 million pounds worth of fraud on the oh so convenient "contactless" bank/credit cards in the last quarter!! How much will it be for the fiscal year? Anyway that's for another day.
I use the PIN method on my debit card and try never to use it contactless, except when we have to use TFL train services at "paying times" (otherwise we use our Freedom Passes!) - also, my wife bought me one of those other cards that you put in your wallet to "protect" contactless cards from being read, but I'm not sure if it actually works.

If it's the tyvek or foil type then yes they do work.

Big thanks to Chris again, last two 4 week blocks of energy use have been £55 & £45, reduced use of the gas heating during this absolute scorcher of a summer has also been a contributing factor obviously [emoji23]
