Not sure that's known yet Gary, may need to wait a bit. Although Sky Italia will probably have a good proportion of them

Hi Rolf,

Hows it going? Not spoke to you since this time last year really when I was preparing for last season :)

Is there any news on the satellites Abu Dabhi Sports will actually transmit on? I read someone say that it will move onto 7W Nilesat 202 or something along that lines? And come off AB4A?

Does that mean I could pick it up on my setup if thats the case?

Cheers

Well At Bird 4A is actually Hotbird 10 and is will be needed back at 13E eventually. Nilesat 201 may well have an even more restricted beam that the older Nilesats - transmit dish design has improved immensely in the 10 years or so since the series 1 birds were orbited. There is no way to tell until the new bird goes into service. However going on past form with other satellites orbited in recent years the reception wont be any better in the UK that NS 101 & 102, and is likely to be much worse so dont get your hopes up...

Not long enough.

The worst thing is I have to upgrade everything to HD, very expensive! And no one wants to buy my technomates.

I hope it comes clear very soon, and on 7W as Viasat is VERY pricey, not something I could afford

As with most things in life if you want the best you have to pay for it

Andif you are wanting HD you are looking at nearer 1500 not 1000!

Yes, Norwegian TV 2 Premier League HD will show all the PL games because the channel has obtained all the tv rights in Norway. The PL output will be subscription-based only. No games going on the basic channels.

TV 2 Premier League HD at Canal Digital, 1 W, will cost 179 NOK per month. At Viasat, 5 E, it will cost 199 NOK per month.

The main channel TV 2 Premier League HD will show output from PL's own channel in addition to TV 2's own productions. When there are matches played at the same time TV 2 show them on event channels. So you will get everything, and you can find it on both Sirius (5 E) and Thor (1 W).

Whilst much of the output might be shown with original English commentaries, I believe most of the matches will be commented in Norwegian.

It might be easy to get the signal, but you will need a Norwegian subscription to Viasat or Canal Digital to order it - and obviously have an official address in Norway.
