Hi folks,

I have my t90 wall mounted. 5 lnbs on it and its great. There is quite a bit of movement on the dish though in wind etc.. Its securely mounted on the wall using original t90 mount. Just wondering if anyone has done any extra bracing work with their t90's to improve stability?

Looking at maybe running some metal straps from the edge of the dish back to the mount in some way.

Cheers,
Mick

Hm, that looks like a fairly secure install. If you don't want to replace the whole mount. I would try moving the dish down the pole a bit for less wobbleage... Or add additional legs to it.

Ultimately, I would replace the mount with a decent set of T&K brackets.

Got 2 of these mounts, for my 120 and another for the soon-to-be T90, quite good mounts (will take weight with no problem) but a little spongy at the top.

Have also been thinking about some extra bracing, either from edges of dish, or top of the mount. Am evaluating how a pair of adjustable 'things' (don't know what they are called in English, see attachment) would work out if I find a way of fitting them properly.

...or maybe filling the tube with concrete will help a little :O)

I believe that the 'adjustable things' are called turnbuckles.
