4 degrees here CJ but the strong wind makes it feel much worse.

That finally is not so cold at my place, about 0*C, snowing. Good conditions to make snowmen
flinger.gif

They promise -20 and +20 soon, but today better not believe anybody, 1st of April.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

What little snow that was left here has been melting, especially round where we keep the bins, cos the stuff gets piled up behind them from being tipped off the lids, it's so wet back there you'd think it was a public canine urinal, minus the rank smell...

Still, it was about +4 here too, the air wasn't too cold seeing as I had my window open while I put up a shelf on the wall over my computer, but the air smelled fresh (as in, lacked a diesel fume note, as the building site out front was closed for the day), which was nice... O-Ha

Seems the melted snow was replaced with fresh snow this morning, cos it's all white out there again, just a light dusting though, nothing serious, well, for us northerners that is...

Good clear skies throughout the night and so a really sharp frost here.

Additionally I appear to have put a muscle out in my neck this morning, probably due to a draughts in the bedroom. That spider is still within the window though, and is faring rather well on the debris that is drifting in through the cracks in the wall.

Right. That's it.

I'm calling a Drought.

Driving around the lanes in recent days has been characterised by clouds of fine dust thrown up from the Macadam and the verges.

Today we went for a long walk across the fields and they were hard as concrete.

The barometer had been stuck at 1042 for the past fortnight, now dropping rapidly, rain expected tomorrow.

Already got a little - very faint but persistent drivel drizzle.

No doubt a counter to my declaration of "Drought" only a day ago.

So nice for the third day running sunshine and all, but an icy bitter cold wind makes it unpleasant outside

It is not so cold here, but not spring at all. I do not think it is time to change my winter tires. Picture taken by handy couple of minutes ago.

Not really, Focus with 560 grands on odometer (but still can reach almost 200km/h).
Arrived home and it is snowing even harder, perhaps time to put X-mas tree again and forget about any barbeques. :-wow

It may be Spring on paper, but it's still winter in terms of the weather...

Saturday was nice, very sunny and somewhat mild, but Sunday was dull and dreary, yesterday it wassnowing again, and today it's sleety-rain... :-nuts

Looking at the BBC guesses, it may start hitting double figures next week, but they said that about this week last week, so, it'll probably be a nationwide blizzard with 8ft of snow falling... :-rofl2

Yeah it was supposed to be going milder. Its 5C outside and there is a biting north easterly wind.

All hopes of working on the dishes this week whilst Im off work have been abandoned for the time being.
