TBS5520SE USB What's the catch?

Hi,
I have received a TBS 5520SE today.
This one don't work if I put only one plug USB!
With the 2 plugs, work very fine and fast,... I use it with USALS motor.

CrazyScan and EBSPro work without issue with MIS + PLS.
Blindscan work also with DVBDream3.4 + StreamReader1.2.15.

Some tests with DVBDream3.4 + StreamReader1.2.15.
I can receive DVBS2x transponders on 33°east.
Also the MIS (without PLS) on 12.5°west work fine.

But I can't receive MIS + PLS on e.g. transponders on 5°west with DVBDream!

Does it come with 2 USB?, like a Y cable.
I read on TBS forum not to use this with a motor.

Yes it come with Y cable.

That does not say it can power a motor though.
I just signed up for that forum and will ask them.

I see what you're saying, maybe there is a box available that can power the LNB too?
I deffo need to know this as if it can directly drive the dish I will buy one now.

Just waiting for them to accept my registration.

I signed up on Wednesday and they still haven't approved my registration, if anyone is a member on there please give them a nudge as I can't message the board admin to query my registration not being a member lol.

Also tested with root 143816 in place of gold 121212.

Hi CrazyCat,

With SreamReaderEx it's trying to tune some seconds and no result.
With BDA device it stop tune immediately.

Got mine today, seems quite flaky in Windows 10, especially with DVB Dream, having to do lots of disconnecting and restarting.

So, It was not only me!!!!
TBS suggested me to use only 64 bit drivers.
I recognize the pattern.

It works fine till I try to move dish in DVB Dream, then I get lots of problems, it starts scanning before the dish has stopped and then scans too fast.

I have to move the dish with DVB Dream, disconnect the USB, reconnect then open software again and scan.
Tuner seems very sensitive, no problems with 7W
