TELSTAR 12V november launch

I don't have a 16W satellite for reference here Hans, but it's certainly at the low end of the IOT range, if not lower. I need a larger dish with a narrower beamwidth, as Telstar 12 is still prominent when I shift off 15W to peak the beacon (only one beacon up now, 11701H/V).

There seems to be loads of new DMC TP's lit up which aren't listed on Lyngsat or Flysat. For example there is a new mux which carries ASDA FM. It is still on 11150H, but is also on 11494H. Is this Vantage firing up?

Possible the only active transponders reported so far are to the America's Telstar 12 Vantage at 15.0°W - LyngSat

flysat now attributes these transponders to Telstar 12 FlySat Telstar 12 @ 15° West

Yes looks like Vantage is now active on the European beam,

Some data is at 12714H i cannot lock it.

Do you see 12746 H DVB-S/MPEG-2 2170 Auto Da-Ai 2 from flysat? I do not.

That is on the South African Spot beam so no signal in Europe,

It does look like Telstar 12 Vantage can cover the whole of the Ku band 10.7 to 12.75

BYU TV: 11568 - 850 = 10718 MHz
Fight Network: 11611 - 850 = 10761 MHz
William-1, your LNB had the high band LO active (10600 MHz), while it should have been the low band LO (9750 MHz).
Hence frequencies found are 850 MHz too low (10600 - 9750 = 850 MHz).

I call this the "850 MHz trap", first thing I check for when some odd frequency is reported!
Often happens with twin/quad LNB's when both LO's are active.

I have checked out the settings & set on Universal (9750/10600) with a single Inverto Black Ultra so this may have incurred a fault giving rise to these readings & it may explain that when I went to view it was not there ,
I will change the Lnb tomorrow at day break thanks for the feedback.
Hopefully that will fix it if not it may be the TM5502HD if so I will try some earlier software.

Changed the Lnb to new Inverto HGLN on the 100cm Gibby,
Changed the software on the TM5502HD to 9th May 2014 never did see a lot of difference with the proceeding upgrades,
All ok so far.

I William 1. Same as I have . Inverto HGLN. Software shows on the TM5502HD 26 Sept 2014. Version V01.02.
There is another update out on the Technomate Patch website but not sure what the changes are...

Just changed back from 23rd May 2015 not much has changed just added 3 east on the update sheet that means very little as I make my own channel list manually due to lack of a decent Channel Editor for the tbn file system.

The only real change was 7th November 2013 when with my feedback the Blind Scan actually worked as it should since then 27 west was fixed 8th March 2014,
the 4 subsequent upgrades enhancements have since expired now & do nothing now Utube ect as these require constant upgrades that are no longer available,

I mainly use this receiver for feed hunting so I am not bothered until a better satellite receiver comes along,
The TM5502HD & TM5302HD with the 8th March 2014 software is probably more reliable than the subsequent upgrades as the software has not been messed around with as much ;)

This was the software that was in the receiver from new which was November last year. 3 East was added but everything else seems OK so I have left it alone. Use it like you for feeds on the 1.2CM. Will be interested in any new Technomate receiver when it comes out..
