What software version, are you currently running?
I have seen some updates, on the Technomate website:
Code:https://www.technomate.com/support/tm-5402-m4.html
I also found this post, online, from 201, regarding subtitle problems:
"I have solved the problem. I changed the video format to auto in the a/v output setting section of the System setting in the menu."
@Satspot ThanksEnsure you press Subt button on your remote, select Subtitle on the Please Choose and ensure you select Subtitle Off. All options will show as unchecked
I always recommend trying the simpler options before pressing the nuclear button like factory resets etc. As you can see now going to the expense of buying a new receiver was neither required nor advised. You also got a little user manual packaged with your M4 which explains all those basic functions.Yippee ¹⁰⁰⁰⁰⁰⁰
So fix for me was, when Dialogue Box "Please Choose" as in 1st photo of thread, with Subtitle highlighted I need to use down arrow of centre pad to get dialogue box as shown in last post of. @Satspot
My remote, original, is slow to react or it jumps ahead, as sometimes marking a favourite and exiting, I look and find I've added 5 favourites. I can live with this it means just slowing down a bit.
Thanks All

Are you sure? Zgemma is a linux-based receiver, and you must have the proper linux skill to setup and use it. Not for all, surely not for me.I had a delicious zGemma, I think H9, (not sure?} and it was killed stone dead by a close strike of lightning, other boxes survived. The M4 does the job, but zGemma was more user friendly in interface IMHO

When it works! When it does not.... connect your computer to the receiver, and go! If you are able.No special skills required for normal operation.
Good luck with that after a lightning strike. When it works! When it does not.... connect your computer to the receiver, and go! If you are able.
