TM600 AU card rights

Hi guys, I'm currently using a debian server running oscam and omnikey reader, using a tm-600 to connect using cccam 2.14, just wondering if I could use this config to update the rights on the card rather than swapping the boxes over, can this be done or is it safer to continue swapping the boxes TIA
