Rather I'd say the TLE is too old: at epoch in the evening of 4 May, location was 41.9°E. So soon afterwards, the sat must have stopped moving further.

Meanwhile, I wonder what this is all about. Almost as if TürkmenÄlem is in queue to be tested next at 43.5° after Astra 2G has finished? Although the Türkmen satellite is Thales, and 2G is Astrium. :unsure

I just checked and it is always at about 42,2°E.....
Perhaps those of the SES, must renew the license "LUX-30B-G4-42E" on 42°E ? :confused
Frequency range of the license:
Uplink = 6725 - 7025 (C-Band) and 12750 - 13250 (Ku-Band)
Downlink = 4500 - 4800 (C-Band), 10700 - 10950 and 11200 - 11450 (Ku-Band)

Well, these bands are not occupied by Turksat, so you may be right!

P. S. I won't be at home to check signals for 1 or 2 weeks. On top of that, yesterday a wind gust has misaligned my Laminas. I think the elevation bolts of the motor were not tightened enough. :wacko:

By updated TLE the sat is at 42.4°E.
If TurkmenAlem/Monacosat is stopped for testing indeed, then we could recieve its test carriers watching on Astra 2G testing. But, I guess TurkmenAlem/Monacosat will wait until 2G will finish testing in subbands 10700-10950 and 11200-11450 MHz to avoid interference.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to receive extended С-band 4500 - 4800 MHz. With usual C-band LNB IF freqs will be 350-650 MHz, I can't receive them.

Interesting - my 5402 is showing regular blips in the signal. Having tuned in 10744H 22000 theres a regular blip every 4 or 5 seconds where it goes from 0dB to double figures - but its not long enough to see the figure and theres no lock on the signal. This has been going on for hours so its not an intermittent thing

The 10744 H come from Astra 2G 43,5°E... the Monacosat is about 51°E, in less than 24 hours will reach 52°E.

Same signal on 45 east so signal from 43.5 east 2G thanks to Marcus_21 confirms my findings on both satellites either side of 2G showing similar transponder activity,
So I will do a new scan @ 52 east next week.
