I'll be rooting for Chelsea, of course, as they're English.

@ BGonaSTICK....Lets hope CR doesn't pick Melchiot next week m8....as we will be out of the Champions...never did rate Melchiot runs around like a headless chicken and has a brain the size of a pea!
Last couple of games he's bin OK, but he was a major disaster.

Lost possession going forward, couldn't track back, stumbled into challeges and was as alert as a comatose cabbage stewed in yak sick (err.... probably...)

Looks like our Premiership season really IS goin' to come down to our trip to Old Trafford.

Confident of getting a result there though... :-righton

I can pick up the Transponder - 12697V 14685 3/4 on 7'E and the channels on it but can't see TV Sport.

Can someone tell me where its transmiting at the moment please.

Hello Sab, yes it is transmitting now (Thursday night 8-29).
Have you entered the PIDS for this channel, and is your receiver's software up to date.

Thanks Rob and psats.

Software is up to date. I hadn't entered the PIDS for it. I'll check the LyngSat site for it.
My mistake psats. I meant 5'E!

I've entered the PIDS for TV Sport 1907/1911 and I'm getting Realitatea TV on 1160/1120. I have an Echostar 2110Ci V with recent software update V.900.

Having read the previous posts I assume that TV Sport does not broadcast all the time and reverts to Realitatea TV at other times.

Sab, there are four (maybe five) channels on the Romanian transponder. They are Etno TV, Atomic TV Romania, Realitatea TV, and TV Sport Romania.
While TV Sport does not broadcast for 24 hours, they broadcast (for example today) from 06-55 till the last program starting at 22-30.
So as you can see TV Sport and Realitatea are completely different channels.
On my receiver it has Realitatea with an program id of 1 and VPID, APID, and PCR as 0.
Atomic as Program id 3, Etno as Program id as 2, no pids.
But for TV Sport program id 0, VPID 1907, APID 1911, and PCR 0.
Hope this helps. :-cheers

PS. There is a fifth channel for this transponder, it looks like it has only recently started with a demo, it's called OTV same freq etc as the others but its program ID is 9. Its category is various.

I am really rather new at this, but you all seem so friendlywith us newcomers.

I live just to the east of london, and was wondering how big a dish I need to pick up TV Sport? I can get astra 1a loud and clear, but the remaining transponders of the 2 sirius satellites see, to ellude me.

Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction if this has already been asked.

Thanks

Hi Robpyatt, I live about 15 miles east of you and can pick up TV Sport with a 70 cm dish no problem, and welcome.

An 80cm should do you, I'm West of London and pick TVSport Ro fine.

You may have to add the transponder and add the channel manually, as it isn't found in a search. Go to http://www.lyngsat.com/sirius.html for frequency etc.
