Yes I have a 9-pin null-modem cable RS232 ( NETmate 80 C 300 V computer cable ). What do you mean with " safe side " ? Maybe the software that I have download from the website above is incorrect ?

What I meant is that sometimes at the shop they sell customers a standard straight serial cable and they think it is a null modem cable.
So if you check the pin connections yourself, then you are absolutely sure that it is indeed a null modem cable.
Maybe you are right about the software. Try to find another website.
I had the upgrade several years ago via satellite, so I can't confirm if that this software works since I didn't use it myself.
