Ok, it's beginning to look like 49.0.2 is goosed, then.
Was on 49.0.1, this post done from 49.0.2, and 'upload a file' is still normal both in apearance and function. W 8.1 64 bit.

I think it is a Firefox bug as menu options are also inaccessible on another forum (DS) for me on 49.0.2

I have just tried to upload a couple of photos to another topic, using iPhone, it keeps coming up with an error saying

"the contents of the uploaded image doesn't match the file extension"

Well that slightly knocks the 49.0.2 theory, but it nevertheless seems to be the common link of those of us with the issue.

Sounds like you need to bite the Apple and get a self-igniting Samsung (Other cr*p is available).

Also identical missing button happening on another forum with similar looking software to this one - AVForums. Is it a forum software issue or Firefox?

Well earlier Posts suggest the bug is not evident when using other Browsi.

So it is most likely an incompatibility between Xenforo and Firefox.

It'll right itself with Firefox's next downgrade update. Possibly!

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

All's well under Pale Moon 26.5.0 (x64)... :)

That said PM doesn't work with the new-style Google Adsense, annoyingly...

Ah, well. The hypothesis has more or less died!

I shall delete my Forum Cookies and see if that has any effect.

Is there a possibly that the Windows version coupled with a specific version of Firefox may be the issue, ie, a double whammy invisibility impact? I am using Windows 7 64 bit with Firefox 49.0.2 and I have the invisible button.
