Some ARTSPORTS cards have been KILLED OFF by ART before Man Utd V Celtic game. Mine has been a victim. Only got it in Aug 5th. Was a 12month card. But is killed off.

Anyone else with the same fate?

You might have to put your card in a viaccess cam or an original viacces embedded receiver(no "patched" software)
Maybe you could go into viacess menu and reset the keys,it worked once for me on an original bbc prime card in a patched receiver.

This is the rumour going around, it was posted on the internet, but as to it's validity only time will tell:

Art Some traders were warned on Monday that 3 month cards that were designed for the world cup (similar in appearance and design to the 12 month cards)...will be turned of this week.

Apparentelly the UK was flooded with these cards a few weeks ago at silly low prices, traders were informed that they are 12 month cards by certain suppliers.

Art may be accidentally turning of cards.

Yes me too. I posted in the football thread, I hope it's due to my non-official viacees CAM (joker CAM) rather than the card!

FIRSTLY i bought the card from ebay £120.00 from person excellent poitive feedback

Hi Shahid,

ART have switched off certain cards around Europe especially in the UK. I have spoken to my supplier and he agreed to swap the cards but only if the people pay for £30 for the two months they have had the card and he will send out a brand new 12 month card for free so you get another 12 months.

I purchases the card from YOU not your supllier. Thats not my problem . My contract was with you.You guarnteed me a 12 month card. I mentioned from the day it arrived about the colour fading on top of the card. The suplier is telling lies when he says that ART swithed of certain cards especually in europe UK. ART have no idea which loactions the cards are bieng used. Please send out new card or refund me the unused time. i work it around £90 which is reasonal.

Dear ???you have great feedback so please be a gentle man and reslove. Mank Thanks Shahid. I purchased in good faith.

I have just checked that I paid for the ARTSPORTs card by credit card on eaby.. what rights can i use now. i can claim money back as the ebay ad was artsports 12 moonths garenteed.

I did post some months ago there were some cards that had the wrong time limit printed on the facia. Some dealers were unaware of the true expiry dates and passed them on in good faith.

At the moment from what i heard the cards that came witha booklet in the sleeve. Are the ones that are going off. the cards by them selves in the sleeve are ok at the moment.
Is this what you guys are experiencing?

Mine came in a sleeve wrapped and booklet. the paint ink came off the card easily. the logo vanished :)

i have had a fuull refund though.

mine has the al jazeera orange logo,it's a blue card with the chip on the left side of the card [a lot of them have the chip on the right i've noticed] and 365j on the bottom right corner and it's still okay

My art card also no longer works :(

Ive still got al jazerra but no art. It was the blue card with al jarezza logo and the 365j on it. Ive just contacted the ebay seller about it. Fingers crossed

Ignore my above post. I changed my lnb frequency to 10.600 in the setup menu and all the art channels came back on.

Apparently alot of cards were turned of yesterday. Wednesday again???, Not just the blue ones with the booklets but the red ones too. Come across this that art know the serial numbers of the cards that have arrived in the uk, and thats why the cards are going off. or the suppliers are feeding art this info! But why??
