Thought I would create a specific thread for these, that have been discussed in various other threads so far (27.5°W and 30°W).
I've had some success over the last couple of days, since receiving a NooElec NESDR SMArt XTR RTL-SDR stick. This device has an E4000 tuner which reaches up to 2300MHz (i.e. enough for the high output of a universal LNB ) unlike the regular RTL-SDRs with an R820T chip that only goes up to 1766MHz.
Using this in combination with an Octagon PLL LNB (kindly supplied by @SimonE ), I've managed to lock and decode a couple of narrow signals off Eutelsat 8WB at 8°W using the AMSat demod software -
12622.2V SR 255 FEC 1/2 (DVB-S): Radio Maria Italia (MP2 160k)
12621.76V SR 144 FEC 2/3 (DVB-S) - Tendance Ouest (AAC 128k)
There's another around 12622.9V with SR ~200, but I've not been able to lock it successfully. It could be DVB-S2 GSE.
