Hi Analogue..
NSS5 has been active for some months now ..
Most recent addition in C band was CNN ..
..and it wasn't for want of trying ...
I suspect my 1.8 just isn't big enough at my location ..
I can detect CNN ...varying signal 0.5 to 1 db ..but nowhere near enough for a lock.

I can't lock it either. Maybe it's the heat. The sky is clear almost everyday at the minute but there is a lot of C-band stuff I could lock in the winter that I am struggling with now.

hi-
Flysat dont seem too interested in some of the C band satellites --
i sent a few updates for C band on 58 west earlier this year - which they did include in their listings at the time ,
then i noticed that they had stopped listing C band channels alltogether for 58 west and only now list k/u feeds
i e-mailed them to ask why? ---- they replied ,

"I've deleted the C-Band records because I don't receive regular and up-to-date news on this satellite.
sorry.."

We can always have our own C-band database... Someone needs a bigger dish though.

A better option (IMO) would be to add updates but have the d/b remove them after a certain time.
