Wavefrontier T55 with Inverto Black Ultra LNB:
12616 H 11,1 dB
12636 V 0,0 dB (sometimes signal, but low)
12654 H 11,2 dB

I guess that is a T90 ?
On my T55 no lock on any of them.

less than 50cm --> red
50cm to to 1m --> green
1m - 1.49m --> pale blue
1.5 - 1.99m --> yellow
2m - 2.49m --> purple

a star on the pin means no reception
a diamond is marginal or unstable reception
a tick means good reception

I shall use the diamond where reception is anything less than good - so if one polarity is good and the other erratic then it will get a diamond.

Hmmm some patterns are starting to emerge. The situation in the Netherlands is very interesting with different reception being seen in places quite close to each other.

Its early days (& is subject to more reports coming in of course) but I will make an early prediction that the western edge of the beam looks something like this:

1.JPG

Too little info to even make an early guess for the eastern edge but those non receptions in Finland & Estonia do complicate the matter.

2.0m Green Lad (Precision 2.0m PF dish).

Promax spectrum analyser pics attached below for the following frequencies:

12616H ( 4.8dB )
12654H ( 4.3dB )

12635V ( 3.4dB )
12673V ( 4.4dB )
12713V ( 3.4dB )

There is some signal level fluctuation +/- around the above signal level values.
The attached pictures are the dB levels at the instant the picture was saved.
I think I may possibly be able to increase the signal levels, got a few things to try out.

Congratulations moonbase - thats the first confirmed reception of this beam here in the UK (on this forum anyway - & others dont matter :D ). :-respekt

Its depressing the levels are so low on a 2m dish though for so far south & east

It's only reception on a spectrum analyser rather than locked with a satellite set top box.
I think other UK members with a spectrum analyser might be able to repeat my findings?

If I cannot improve the dB levels it might indicate that something like a 3.7m dish would be required in the UK.
I'm not confident I have the most from the dish at the moment, I might have a go at squezing some more juice.

The usual drop off from South to North MB but similar results with Ku feed straight into Promax. - 2.2 PF North Nottinghamshire.
There is some variable markers being employed at the moment at 12676H.

Interesting, based on the difference between our respective Promax dB levels for 12616H at 4.8dB vs 3.5dB, the drop off Ooop North is not as drastic as has been seen for other satellites.
However, I am not convinced on the reliability of the dB levels when they are so far below a lock.

Another point I had not noticed previously is that there looks to be an S2X or NS3/NS4 frequency at around 12540H, easy to spot by the shape of the transponder in the spectrum.
Not sure what this is, might have a sniff later....

@moonbase are you seeing anything on the F15 receiver, which tends to report dB levels when below lock? There's not a flicker of signal over here...

Yes, RollOff is definitely under 0.20 for 12539H

Can anyone with an S2X capable TBS card please scan this frequency to see if they can get any info about it?

OT - Away from base at the moment MB … can you see that channel at 12736 H ? , looks very similar to the other South East beam sigs

Yes, I can see something in that region but it does not look to be centred around 12736 H, looks to be more centred at 12732H.
I am picking it up at 4.3dB on the Promax meter but it has just started to rain and there is full cloud 'ere which is not helping.

I was in Morrison's and being forceably taken away from more important duties and working from memory re: the frequency , which actually was 12732H area. - back home now so will check it all out again.

No, there is only the faintest flicker on the F15 which is odd.
Normally, if I am registering SNR's in the region of 4dB on the Promax I expect to see something on the F15 even if below a lock.

My contribution to your map from Istanbul.
All vivacom frequencies are receivable with my 90 cm roof offset antenna (with 40 meters cable length) and balcony-mounted 60 cm motorised antenna. S and Q values are higher than all widebeam frequencies.
Tuner 1 (balcony ant.)
Tuner 2 (roof ant.)

Now we are getting somewhere, after a bit of tweaking I have managed to get the 12616H frequency up to 7.0dB on the Promax.
Only another 2.4dB to go for a signal lock. However, I can't see what changes I can make to squeeze another 2.4dB from The Green Lad (Precision 2.0m PF).
A quick calculation suggests that moving from a 2.0m dish to a 2.7m dish might get another 2.6dB increase in signal level.

For a South East UK location it should definitely be possible to lock these Balkan Bad Boys with a 3.0m dish, probably smaller, perhaps down to a 2.4m or less if the location site is coastal East Kent.
Similarly, based on the reception report map, coastal East Suffolk in the UK might have a reasonable chance with a 2.4m, possibly smaller?

A screenshot from the Promax showing 12616H at 7.0dB is attached below.

@Analoguesat the location called 'near Nijmegen' is 25 km's to west of Nijmegen.
