is there an easy way to delete skins you've dowloaded, tried and didn't like?
Not sure. Maybe a long press on the blue button and then press red to delete pluggins... assuming the skin was installed as a pluggin.

Thanks Huevos, that did it. I do worry about memory issues on the VU+ so am trying to keep any downloaded plug in's to a minimum.

I've got a USB stick (4G:cool: permanently plugged in and use that for stuff like picons. It saves spinning up the hard drive every time you switch channels and also avoids having unnecessary stuff written to the internal flash memory. It could be used for swap file or time-shift buffer too, not that I am.

Is that plugged into the rear USB? Obviously I don't spin up hard drives being a Solo owner but it would be nice to store the picons on it. Any sense in getting a larger than 4GB one or is that enough?

I don't really know. I just used that because I had it knocking around. I had some picons on the hard drive and when I changed channel I got the VIX spinning logo while the hard drive spun up. It was pretty annoying. Writing stuff like that to the internal flash seems to be frowned upon in certain forums. They believe too many read/write cycles to the internal flash might limit the lifespan of the receiver. Maybe it's paranoia. Who knows!

The pluggin asks where to store it. Just choose USB.
