Vu+ Uno I want to add 16 LNBS (T90 Setup) to the Vu+ HELP.......

in theory both dreambox and vu+ support up to 32 lnb in eingma 2
i have asked the same about connecting 2 diseqec 1X4 and 1X10 in many fourm
the last one was (sat univers )fourum
but i didnot get any answer
i still have the spuan swich and i will ask again
hope this time find some vu expert to answer​

I am finding it hard to get a reply from Vu users as well but from what i have so far it can be done but its going to be hard work as the 10/1 x 2 into the 4/1 might cause a few issues.

Just unsure what to do as i need to wire everything in this week

installing and connecting 20 lnb is a lot of work

but are you sure about tuner cofiguratin

if you are please take a screen shott like this one for the tuner setting

That will help, I was meant to go up over the last few days, but its been wet and freezing and no chance at all to even wire one cable!

Hopefully this weekend will be a little better. I looked at your setting and I guess there is no harm in starting it this way and if I get problems I can post back on here.

i,am sorry if you got me rong
this tuner setting is for 1X16 which i use now
till now i didnot have any answer about connecting 2 diseqe 1X16
i found an old post in the fourum ( i got a dream ) about that but it was for enigma 1 and i didnot understand it completly
i was hopping that you have the right setup

No its fine - I was looking at the setting and thought its worth ago. Its going to be a case of trial and error with this one as not having much luck finding someone who has does it this way (with more than 2 diseqc's).

Would it help if I took a shot of my tuner set up page as well? Also, are you wiring one output of each of your twin output LNB's directly to a separate receiver? I'm not sure whether the Uno is vastly different to my Solo but I was given to understand you can configure it for up to 32 LNB's. Can you explain a little further the way you think the switches are going to be wired? You've got (potentially) 20 outputs into 2 X 10/1, so therefore two outputs which could go into a 4/1 switch and give you a single cable for the receiver. Why do you need 2 EMP 4/1's? When you say "more than 2 diseqc's", do you mean in a cascade? I have 5 switches but only in a two step switching sequence (E.G. LNB> 4/1 > Spaun 4/1 > VU+).

Sorry for the delay but been busy with work and all that.

The rain for the past 2 weeks has put the wiring on hold for the moment but this was the plan

10/1 x 2 into emp 4/1 (2 slots) into Vu+

I had planned to put all the lnbs into the 2 10/1 and then feed the 2 wires into 1st and 2nd slots of the emp 4/1. The single wire will then feed into the Vu+

I am thinking if the 16/1 emp would be a easier route. I brought it but cancelled the sale a while ago but now thinking this 10/1 route is doing my head in

Hi Guys at last some hot weather

Anyway got up there and setup a emp disepc 4/1 to test the system as I dont understand how to setup the multi lnb scans..

Anyway this is how far I got

got to advance and setup

lnb 1 - 28e
lnb 2 - 26
lnb 3 - 19.2
lnb 4 - 13

went for this on the input

as per mollsam (thanks M)

I only did this as I still have not a clue how the numbers work and what they do.

More on this shortly as its scanning

17.33 ok total failure

I tried the same setups as pete and mosllam (thanks for the info), just to see see if they work and nothing.

basically all the channels or each channel is scanning 28e again and again and filling in the 28 channel list into each sat

so 28e channel shows up in catseye channel list on my vu+ on 13, 19,26 and 28.

anyone with any more advice?

now moving to the 10/1
