way to instal tuxbox if download link is removed

if you have locked dream and you can't install tuxcom via download link in your image then you can mount your dreambox with your hdd and install tuxcom manually, but you need to have right format of tuxcom.
i can't upload that tuxcom file couse of the format of the file, but if u need it write me a pm and i'll immediately send you that file...

You could zip it with winzip or winrar then upload it if the file is not too big

Hello friend,

I bought a Dm800 so I wanted to access to the root root seems the DM is locked, I have tried pass: root and pass: dreambox doesn't work then I read that using tuxbox I will be able to reset the password, unfortunately the tuxbox is also locked with password, seems the guy is amsart enought to protect the DM800
any change to get the tuxbox password removed even by deleting the tuxbox and reinstall it again manualy
I have tried to remove tuxbox from the box impossible.
please any suggestion

Was the box bought locked down as it came with a card share access on it? If so the only way to tinker with the settings is to flash a new image onto it.
