He said as the audio is digitised/compressed/converted to at least three different standards before /transmission/ then decompressed and converted by the processors at the other end to appear at ones audio chipset.
For all we know Brigitte may have been tinkling the ivories of a Roland.
But then.....
No.
For all we know (well according to the CD), this was published in 1993, and therefore recorded on a piano with two or three mikes in the classiscal configuration.
(Which I am sure you are familiar with?)
Also, due to the vintage, we know that this was recorded without auto-tuning, deep-splicing, or micro-editing of any sorts.
(the AMS was only really coming out by then - and the Fairlight Audio Editor still was not well accepted in classical circles).
Quite likely a bit of Massenburg, or if not available, some other mastering EQ device.
Quite likely som discrete compressor.
But a Roland? Don't think so.
And by the time the audio has passed from the linear CD (16-bit format) into analogue audio through my amplifier through my DALI speakers to my ears... erh... not a lot a change going on.
(Why do you think I'm slaved to the internet for audio??)
So.... I think you may find that you may be wrong, Sir.
