We have a very large mixed breed we rescued from the local animal shelter about 4 years ago now, he suffers with bad hips and struggles to walk, i often end up carrying him upstairs or into his bed, BUT... i would not swap him for the world !

Mine is a rescue dog, the person who was "breading" them is still in prison!

She was also defrauding the dwp, keeping the animals is squalid conditions, no water, there mess was an int high thick!

The police, RSPCA & Dwp all had to have medical treatment as the ammonia smell was overwhelming.

On the bright side only 2 of the animals out of her 60, had to be put down. The rest was re-homed.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Nothing currently as a domestic pet, we have loads of frogs in the garden and more than a few newts in the pond.

I have seen a mouse in the kitchen in the past month or two though, currently being fed with crusts and left over cookies and one day soon I'll set a trap.

My son had domestic mice at the beginning of the year, cheeky beggars as well, happy to wander across the kitchen floor with us in there, heavens where did this year go I suppose I should post my kill photos from the beginning of the year at my son's house, it was like a turkey shoot some nights, but they all succumbed to the wood and spring steel traps in the end, 12 we got in the end.

I find that only the Little Nipper branded traps work well. All others seem to have problems of one sort or another.

Many dogs through the years, great joy but also great sadness when it ends.
Next I'll go for a Twin Peaks pet (a log, friendly and peaceful, zero problems :O)

Here is a link to the story in the daily mail.

Cruel couple kept dozens of dying and diseased animals in conditions so appalling inspectors had to call off visit because of stench of ammonia

I must warn you of the photos, some are a bit graphic.

Got Flossie, a lurcher, about 4 years ago from a rescue centre just outside of Doncaster, terrible place and a con. Thin as a rake, extremely nervous and I was told she was a bit wobbly because she had been shut in for a few days, no staff to walk her. Paid £150 towards its jabs, being chipped and being spayed. Found out later none of it was true so had to pay again. With the return trip it worked out expensive. But she is the best dog ever and worth every penny.

I can understand what you said, as in the past I had 3 rescue greyhounds, once they settled in they all lived the rest of there lives very happily.

And made very good gard dogs, all went on until they were 16.

Sadly, I have to announce that Bailey did not come home this morning. I´ve just picked his body up from the road and taken it to the vet for cremation. He died about 100 meters from where his brother , Whiskey , was killed in March this year. Neither made it to three years old.
We also had to have Molly, the dog, put to sleep in between these two events.
Sometimes life sucks, we have lost all three " kids " in eight months.

RIP, Bailey, time to play with your siblings

Hi TJ was this the place ?.
home page
This is it..............chaiquinta.co.uk/
We contacted the place a year after we got her because she was not chipped and it apparently has new owners, therefore no discredit to the kennels.
