looking for a replacement box for a dead spiderbox hd9000.

Not sure what to buy but don't really want to go down full Linux based receiver . Had eagle box and all the messing with images etc was just too much of a learning curve and pain .

I dolike the techno ate boxes from before had the 1000,1500 which worked very well as did the hd 6800. Was considering the hd5402 as it has ccam Ethernet ability and a good blind search.or I. Could just replace the spiderbox. Or is there any other box that does the same or better?

Cheers Ross

How many Tuners do you need?

If one will suffice, a fair few of us are addicted to our Skybox F3s.

Also consider the Dr HD F15 or F16 if you needed more than one tuner.

For the money seems a good value box. One downside is the lack of rf output for routing round house but at the price hard to complain. How is the hd picture quality and sensitivity of the blind search and how long does a scan take ? Technomate always been fast search

The 5402HD definitely fits the bill here especially for the Blind scan and the RF modulator on board.
