Hallo everybody ( spoken in a loud, booming, but friendly voice!)

i'm having my roof renovated make it nice and water tight for the winter.

Which means my Satellite dishes are all out of action and had to be moved off the flat roof for a month.

But this does give with the option to point them somewhere else, and also set up my 120 meter dish to use with my other two smaller dishes.

What advice do I seek from you? When I need some ideas because currently I have a change to realign whilst scaffolding is up and get an even better English+French channel setup.

What can I point my stuff at?

So what I have I got:

1 x Wavefront T55
1 x Technisat 60 cm steel dish
1 x 120 cm steel dish with a motor attach, but it has not been used for ten years so probably will not work.

Previously I had the standard: 28e 19e 13e 5e.

What must I keep:
28.2e UK stuff
5w ( Fransat sat coz I have got a card for it)
19e for German channels

13e for everything on hotbird ArteTV and stuff

But I can probably point the big 120cm dish at something fun and stick a few offset LNBs on it.

But point it at what?

Doesn't DubaiOne show some half descent films even if I can ignore the cuts :-)

Or how about get Express AM7 at 40.0°E because the footprint covers western Europe? Infrastructure

You could point the 1.20 cm antenna at Eutelsat 9º E. There are lots of fun things there. I don't know if you could receive Italian channels (MultiStream) in Belgium. I can receive them here. There are sports channels, music, movies, documentaries... etc. They are free to air and most of the frequencies are in 16APSK, they need the PLS code to be able to receive the signal, which can be easily obtained on satellite websites.

In 2011-2014 I experimented with different multifeeds on 0.6-1.6m antennas. I give you a choice, you can experiment yourself. The signal on all antennas was excellent. On the 5W you probably need to install a separate antenna. Everything depends on the fasteners = heads = LNB. Tomorrow I will open a new topic about multifeeds - /with photos/.
Print your photo of the 1.2m antenna. To see what kind of mount is needed. And also our moderator RimaNTSS, he is a super specialist in such mounts, he will tell you, I know from his work.
This mount for my antenna also fits a square trunk.-/хобота/

And it is also desirable to install =heads=LNB with a diameter of 24 and 40 mm
In the last photo with such an antenna only 5 LNBs fit

Hi,
I get the IT multistream from 5w on my T55 dish. At least I did but have not looked since July.

The amount of MS on 9e is remarkable. Also, there is Ukranian TV but I am not sure if I can pick it up - Maybe. Some German and Suisse channels as well. I doubt I will ever get a AFN decoder so those channels are out :-) Thank-you for the suggestion. The last time I used 9e was 20 years ago.
