Nothing wrong with Gibertinis, though sourcing one has become slightly more difficult thanks to the 'B' word.

Ensuring the dish is not warped or damaged, and is correctly aligned is more important than a few extra centimetres - and as you've found the slightly larger Triax is a pig to align.

Consider second hand Channel Master or Prodelin. Even they are used they will always work like brand new, and after regular washing they will also look like brand new.

Set and save a "Search" on ebay for the dish(es) that you would like, and make sure you "tick" the box that pops up to ask if you want to receive emails about new listings of those because quite a few do pop up from time to time.

They often start at ridiculously low BIN or "Make an Offer" prices compared with the "buying new" prices, or they then just don't get many (if any) bids at all and sell for a pound or two because people just want to get rid of them and only 1 person did actually make any bid at all! To look for the latter set the search to "Ending soon"

That's more or less how I got my Gibby OP125L which I saw listed about 2 yrs ago when I was "just idly looking around" at what was on offer. It was very local (West Drayton) and there had been only 1 offer of around £70 some days/weeks earlier, so I made a "silly offer" of £85 - and that's what I got it for, complete with STAB motor (later proved faulty!), an Inverto Black Ultra, ground mount and cables. Took a bit of work (and my estate car) to get it back here, but has since definitely proved worth the money, effort and time.

I doubt you will find an Orbital dish these days (I keep one reflector in the garage as a replacement for a number of customers if they suffer a failure.

Have a look for Fracarro, brand name 'Penta'. Exceedingly well made with good performance.

The OP Gibertini 100 XP+ Inverto Black Ultra 0.2 is the best 100cm dish available in my experience,
You may need to check the Lnb Arm as mine was too long,

Search for Fracarro 1m, or PT100A (perhaps AV or AC)

The company has branded dishes up to 1.5m, though the larger ones may now be bought in from other manufacturers.

It depends on your location but take Eutelsat-10A @ 10°east 11345 H 27500 AFP1 $=========80% . for example, my TM-5402 receiver is showing 92%, is that a fair comparison or does it very between receivers?

On some of my receivers for AFP1 shows 100% Signal Quality this was a selling confidence trick by some satellite receiver manufacturers,
So for my lists I use the most reliable readings such as the TM6902HD T2 Super.

Personally, I used a mixture of "red oxide" primer and non-metallic "grass green" spray paints in a "zigzag" pattern in order to break up the "visually perceived" image as seen by any local "observers" - the reason for that being that our local authority might consider my dish installations to be "non-compliant"!

OTOH, my reports to that local authority last year about the owners of a house (a couple of doors away!) renting out a converted garage as a "bed in a shed" residence appear to have gone "unnoticed".

Shame you cant go bigger especially when ground mounted - theres a 1.25m gibbertini on auction site now: 284138145902. 90 quid.
i sold my gibby 1m earlier in the year, 40 quid!
it was an extremely good dish as @william-1 says.
im not sure if ive gained much moving up to my Laminas 1.25m - its difficult to tell when you dont have both to do like for like comparisons.

Matt would be visually better than gloss - and definitely "technically" better than paint containing anything "metallic"

Frankly, in my experience ("so far"!) it's a bit of a "lottery" regarding what you can "get away with" in terms of "max dish size" and basically will depend on if/who anyone bothers to complain!

Here, in "South East England", it seems to me that, ATM and in reality, no-one appears to care "a sh1t" in that respect because of the current pandemic - and so I suspect that, when that subsides, then "max dish size" will still be very low on the "order of priority" in terms of "enforcement"

if it was me, and ground mount was an option, i'd go for a ground mounted gibertini 1.25 or a channel master 1.2 - loads on facebook and e3ay....people just dont want them

Well here in London there's certainly numerous TV aerials which fall foul of the requirements in terms of size, dish is a rather more conspicuous though. There's a bigger problem than that though, my partner isn't a fan of it sat in the garden so i've agreed to relocate it. Sadly the wind exposure up on the roof will be too much for a 1.2.

Sat Matrix de is selling op 85 se on Amazon uk with £7.91 delivery charge no mention of any TAX.
I am trying to figure it out why HM sat stop selling and sat Matrix de still selling to uk.

Going round in circles on this, not helped by the fact it seems extremely hard to even source most of the dishes i've come across. I didn't want to lose any signal on what i've currently got which is the TD110 as some feeds, FTA European Tour Golf for example is always marginal so I got it in my head that I couldn't go smaller. The Triax is 110x101 reflecting by my measurements, the Gibertini only 101x94. This is reflected in the specified gain figures 40.2 v 39.7. But perhaps i'm just reading too much into these figures and the accuracy of the alignment will more than offset it. I'm not comfortable going up to the 1.2s due to wind and it will really stick out on top of my house (maybe next year once the 1m has bedded in)

I ordered a 1M Televes based on some old reports that it's size was very similar to that of the TD110 however it's only 94 x 104, they have a 1.1 model but not in grey (or stock) so would need painting. Another thread on here recently also saw an improvement going from a Televes 1.1 to a smaller Kathrein 90 plus there's a video on youtube of it bouncing around in the wind so i'm not sold on it and will likely return

I think ideally i'd source a new TD110 and get it perfectly aligned but the chances of that seem unlikely so i'm thinking of giving the Gibertini a go and testing it myself in my garden (hours spending messing around with the Triax bracket has given me a good idea of how to roughly set up a motorised).

Any thoughts?

Seems some German retailers have stopped shipping to UK now but have found a couple that still might. Much difference between XP and SE series? Saw one comment that said go for the SE as more stable feed arm

Channel Master 1M is 110x101cm, some creative engineering would be required to mount one on a DiSEqC motor though.

and then it changed, i cant get it very well on my 1.2 now, it breaks up.

however, many factors come into play here, LNB alignment, position on motor arm when changing dishes, its almost impossible to tell really, the real difference due to setup permutations - even the weather or time of day.

Yes what complicates it is the TD110 outer rim is bent when a loose shed door fell into it, from that point it's had a few other knocks when builders were in. The installer who did it originally but not currently working I suspect had it perfect but after the knocks it has been down to me to tweak it. I reckon i've done a pretty good job of it but i've never been able to peak the readings after tightening the bolts and no idea if the bent rim is impacting the signal. I've read about stringing the dish to check it, i'll do that tomorrow and post some pictures up. Shame I didn't take some readings when it was originally installed as a benchmark.

Interesting, i've read some posts that the opposite was the case. That is going from the Triax to the Gibby was an improvement just because the bracket is so tricky to get right on the Triax. I know there isn't going to be much in it but when the weather is bad and the feed is cutting in and out, every little counts. What's the frequency for the test card on 3W? Keen to see if I get it now

I believe Dish result can only be best comparable if you have all the dishes you want to test with the same lnb, receiver, cable and you test them at the same time.
