which suggests the Nokia mobile 610 Lumia is potentially equippped with at least the hardware necessary, what should I do in order to allow tethering from her mobile to the laptop, and surf using the mobile account on a decent screen (her, not me).
Currently the firmware is Windows phone 7.8 but other articles mention putting in 'Mango' or similar. I don't expect it to be easy or reliable, but currently she has no ability, despite the promises from Virgin when she was offered this as free upgrade for the credits she had accrued a couple of years ago.
