I think the 4 bolt mount point design may have been ordered like that as a custom job from Precision?
Or, an an aftermarket modification to get the dish mounted on an H type frame for fixing to a Jaeger 1224 motor?

I am leaning towards the dish being custom ordered like that, otherwise there would be the remnants of the three mount points on the rear ring.

There was a similar design to a Precision mounting ring if I remember correctly on the 3.7m Precision dish owned by "subman" ?

was gonna search here to see if theres any other 1.5s with 3 or 4 mounting points. the 4 bolt mounting points make is as simple as can be to attach a jaeger 1224

I have a 1.5m Precision dish with the 3 mounting points, ordered it direct from Precision.
The three mounting points were the standard design.
