Nice one Martin, have fun with it, I too have a similar keyboard but only use it for typing in searches or url's as my TV does CEC most of the time I just my TV remote, you can also use a free phone app called Yatse.

Many thanks, I will look into it, reading a little more into this box it will be ideal for my plans, streaming music and video round the house controlling cctv etc,

I have just set the basics up and now going to start adding to it,

Yes I have it on mine, I will be sticking with smart TV's for my projects, easy to setup without wires, an interesting read about the license to unlock mpeg-2 and vc-1 decoding, maybe the future to pci cards just a thought,

I am interested in the cctv part, as win 7 doesn't always do it. Plus made in China dvr.

Anyone using windows 8.1 to format there cards please, I am having problems, I do know about cheap cards and not gone for them, I have now tried 3 top brand 8G cards and getting errors only pointing to a faulty card,

I am now unsure if its something to do with me using windows 8.1 to format I am using the correct SW, so card reader/wrong usb port, I am tempted to clear the original SD card and try with that but that would void my warranty would it not, any suggestions welcome

Poor picture but log here, I've googled it and it all points to SD card, but like I say I have used 3 top brands and same problem.

When formatting it CJ it is what it is, the SW that Paul posted up is a good bit of kit and recognises the card,

Also it was bought from maplin, but I guess you never know but all is well the SW confirmed it.

Problem solved, I was using a usb cable to power the unit , I plugged the proper power supply in and all is well now .
