1.2m Prodelin(?) in London, £30 start price, perhaps for someone not keen on a Channel Master. Not sure if the LNB holder is complete.

Actually, this is 1.2m Channel Master (VSAT version). LNB-holder, yes, incomplete.
Whilst it looks like a Channel Master, the feed holder is made of cast metal with a securing bracket over the top.
The listing confirms it to be a Connexions system (London / Barnet based) making it around 40 years old, part of SMC Supplies Inc.
The polarmount , though solid, will have a large amount of corrosion around the moving parts.

Yes, CM had cast aluminum LNB-holders. Polar-mount really look like Prodelim made. But I think that somebody just married CM mirror to Prodelin polar-mount.

The Prodelin antennas used self tapping bolts to hold the reflector to the mounts. They did make a version for Echostar motorised systems, (supplied through Micro-X for the UK ?), but it was a lighter coloured dish.

I can't remember the product code for the Prodelin receive only polarmount dish, but I'm sure it is in the catalogue somewhere.

Looking at the strength ribs pattern, antenna from e-bay has almost exact strength ribs as this Andrew VSAT antenna

Andrew antennas purchased Channel Master in the mid 2000's, the Connexions antenna would predate this by a good number of years so perhaps it is an inhouse design.

Not a dish, but relevant to the last post, a - brand new - Gensat 4/12, boxed and complete.

These could move a solid 2m dish in their day without trouble, not bad for £20,

I use the Echostar Motorise Dish.
Must be 30 years old now.
Fitted with an INVERTO Ultra Twin Dual Output Satellite LNB nowadays.

That's the one. It had nylon bearings for the polarmount.

If you take a picture of the rear of the dish you should see it mimics a similar rib pattern to the Prodelin antennas

Awesome bargain, dish prices fallen off a cliff.
That bad boy is gonna rake in some nice catches. Are you planning to use it exclusively for Ku-Band or will you have a sniff at C-Band?

Planning to have a sniff at C-Band - specially at 40.5w and 58w but will look into getting a polar mount and motorise it.
