Somewhat confused to say the least!

Are you referring to f/w loaded onto an SX88+ or onto another type of Octagon RX?
 
FWIW again: f/w version 1.05.92 from 30th Dec now available and just saying "Important software update. Please perform"- I wonder what's hidden in that that Octagon aren't telling us about?<_<
 
anyone use the DLNA server to stream to a ROKU box on a remote TV?
or any other streaming stick??
I cant get ROKU to work - it sees the server but no streams from it
 
I recently bought a SX88V2 Dual which is comparable to the SF8008m (Mini)
The box runs very well with Enigma² and Define Os

If you can install VLC you may be able to use UPnP to access channels from the SX88. It works on the PC version of VLC but the version available to streaming sticks may have fewer features.

Looks like a slightly wider IF range and large symbol rate capability but no S2X. I wonder if it is able to lock some of those very low symbol rate radio transponders.

I have just done a firmware update on my SX88+ from 1.04.50 to the latest 1.06.04 . It sits in a cabinet next to my SF8008 and since doing the update my SF8008 controller controls BOTH receivers. I put version 1.04.50 on a USB stick to try and go back but it wouldn't let me. I surely can't be the first to have this problem. Has anyone else suffered this and what's the cure please.

Because if you have multiple receivers it's extremely annoying if one remote controls more than one box. If this 'feature' can't be disabled then you couldn't have an sx88 & sf8008 on the go at the same time - both boxes would react simultaneously. YES! exactly this!!! it looks like just you...

Thanks guys for your advice. My SX88+ has been restored to v 1.05.50 firmware. The problem of my SF8008 rcu controlling my SX88+ has now gone. Deep Joy!

Thanks. I bought a cheap gen 1 amazon firestick off ebay and downloaded 'VLC for fire' and it works perfectly
