Advice Needed Receivers with the lowest Symbol Rate?

I locked 11596V 30000 & 11635V 30000 the other night on a fixed 90cm pointing at 22W. No signal at the moment.
No I was definitely on 24W, just confirmed by my good friend Roy Carman. We both have the same scan..The satellite is off arc at the moment probably explaining why Ozumo cannot get a signalIMG_20210221_185616.jpgIMG_20210221_184952.jpg

Yes indeed, Roy is well respected in the DX community. I'm trying to get him on this forum

Indeed .. it was his feed reports - that encouraged me to buy my 1.8 Channel Master - some 20 odd years ago :-)

I did some testes: H9s, H9 twin, Vu+ zero4k and Edision OS Mini 4k:

Test Satellite 45W: 3834 V 480

Zgemma and Vu+ zeo4k: lock OK and tune channels, but only "manual scan"
EDISION OS MINI 4K: No signal.

More other details here:

yes we know the zgemma has a sensitive tuner - its just not been implemented as well as other manufacturers have done, hence why blind scan on KU band, is very hit and miss, depending on the satellite being scanned

Yeah,I've been wondering, why I don't find Roy Carman on DX forums?I remember him taking care of the Feedhunters (Yahoo)Group at Topica in 2002,now gone,if memory serves me well. Or when I saw him on Dr.Dish(aka Christian Mass)'s feeds(43.0W,23.5E,etc),arguing with him. Or when helping those interested to use digital receivers, around the beginning of these devices, such as Nokia 9500 ,9600 or New Wave 9000,etc
His contribution has been of great help to many feedhunters.Where's he posting?
I wish him good health.

Yes, the good old days of Feedhunters on Yahoo groups..Roy took over and ran the group until its closure and I was one of the Moderators. The Google groups Feedhunter site is still active again run by Roy. We are in regular contact via email. and he is in good health. ..

Does anyone know if there are any receivers that can do Symbol rates in kS/s ranges below 1000,
I know that some PCI cards can do it, but are there any receivers that are able to go really low in the 100's range?
Sorry to drag up an old thread - but some may find this interesting i hope - the new TM5402-M4 can scan and lock in China Radio - low SR - 990

:-clap

I don't know if it has to do with the latest kernel (5.14).
For the first time, the Edision Mio4K in blindscan found and even read a frequency below sr 1000.
Until now it was under 1000 usually done.
And to find that also by BS , really not bad

Hello ,

I have since a few days the Openbox S3 CI II receiver.
It is not enigma2, it is an old school receiver,
It is not enigma2, it is an old school receiver, but it is always regularly updated, but it is not DVB-S2X and UHD.
I wanted to try the amateur radio emissions on the 26° East position.
With joy I saw that it can receive frequencies with an sr of 333.
It also finds in blindscan Multistreams with PLS as well as T2MI.

Yes, it's with a special LNB that has a LOF of 9300
That's the big problem with the receiver; it comes from Ukraine,
and at the moment with all the drama going on there
it's really hard to get, the packages can take a long time to arrive
when they do arrive.
