How did no-one think of this before!
It makes total sense this could have been a test with the old HotBird 13E at 12.8°E.
Indeed the (now empty) transponders peak about 0.2° to the West for me, compared with 12597V and 12692H from 13.0°E.
HotBird 13E also has just one wide beam, during the test they may have skewed it to the East gradually.
The beam at the West side has a rather sharp edge.
Maybe others with a larger dish can try to pinpoint better than me.
Kinda tempted to agree given that I just threw a small dish at 13e and got decent reception on the Vivacom TPs vs the rest, I'd say I was aligned a bit more towards 12.8-9 degrees than 13e.
