Astra 1N at 19.2E

In the future, Astratv.es (Spanish DTT channels and more), which is already known, will be free for the first year when it is launched (2025) and then renewed in 2026 at €72, free installation up to a maximum of €145, if the installation is more expensive, the difference is paid by the end user.
In one of the tp/frequencies, we have 2 DVB-I channels.

An installer told me that among these Astratv.es channels there would be a channel that takes you to SES via the internet (RJ45), demo/advertising/possibilities, these are probably the channels, we'll have to wait for them to activate the channels.
------------

Thank you very much,so....
how does the average user with a smart tv and a dish achieve that?
DVB is the usual digital picture system.(DVB-S/DVBs2 /etc??)
IP ,internet protocol... so what is it?
the internet tv we have already here with "boxes" connected to modems? or something else?
DVB is not a system but a transmission method

I'm very interested in this new HD+ service as a way of getting Spanish TV more easily (30°W works well but my neighbours' trees cause a bit of a problem to reception), I wonder if I'll be able to pick up a CAM and card when I go to Tenerife later this year :confused Hopefully there won't be some kind of complicated activation requiring ID needed.

Those of you who have a PC-Sat card can look...:Y
These Astratv.es channels have LNC.
From what I read from a colleague, they have two data tables. He was able to read one and get the list from channel 1 to channel 65.

With the receiver I have, at first, if I checked the search network box, it only searched on that frequency. When searching on the other, it directly finds the other frequency. But now it searches almost the entire satellite, it seems they've made more changes.

In case anyone has time to look at this and if the two channels (DVB-I/DVB-I Images) already have some data for the IP connection to the SES website.

So far, it is possible to extract a channel list and program logos (pid 2901) from this transponder and SES promo (pid 2911) for receivers with DVB-I support.

Thanks for the info. @EnoSat
Is the photo of the dancer (old SES demo) broadcast on La 1 UHD?
In theory this channel will be in 4K (UHD).

PS: Everything points to a September 29 launch for distributors/installers who already have PCMCIAS in their possession.

Free installation and free tv for a year, that doesn't sound right at all right. are you sure?

Hello everyone ,and Spain's new bouquet on Astra 19E
I have a Comag HD FTA receiver and a Panasonic 2015 android smart tv.
I have just put the parameters in my receiver & I do get two "blue wavy" channels,no sound.
What can I expect in the upcoming weeks?

I suppose they'll require you to stay at least the second full year (permanence), which is when you start paying. I'm not sure, though.

What about the return of the equipment, decoder and antenna? Will they let you keep it?

They haven't even started yet and are already asking these questions, but of course it's better to know in advance :).

from what I read the only thing they sell is the CI+ card . Many decoders have a CI+ slot (at least my Comag HD has one)
They may provide hepl for Spanish citizens installing a dish. If youalready have one,and a decoder, you ll only need the CI+ card....
Maybe theidea is getting rid of all the DTT transmitters that pump a lot of electricity. What the Flemish & Swiss already did...

Summarized what I know about the installers/suppliers selected for this topic.

Free/free/FTA... never, it's encrypted in Nagra.
Installation up to a maximum of €145 is free (antenna, mount, cable, PCMCIA).
The first year is free, but... but that's what remains of 2025. If it starts on September 29th, then from October until December 31st, 2025.
Then on January 1st, 2026, the €72 fee will be charged, renewing for one year.
Note: SES is very loyal about the money in the satellite and all debts; they are always paid on January 1st, then if you pay, you're back.
I don't expect any difference with these new customers.

They'll leave some channels open with a demo showing the channels' content, to attract customers (channel 100 LNC).

The campaign will start, let's say they have 4,000 PCMCIA's like the photo I posted.
It will be valid for TVs. On the website astratv.es (they left it open for a few minutes), you can check if your TV supports it.
As an installer already indicated, some TVs may not be listed and support it.
Satellite receivers: none will be on that list (we are not "valid" customers).
Many of us have satellite receivers with CI+; we'll have to wait for it to boot to see if they're valid or not.1759064117043.gif
Recalling other installations, if they already have a satellite dish (LNB, etc.), the installer will install it now. In my case, since they are well-known, they gave me the materials to install it on the property.

As far as I know, the ones the installers/companies that will sell them have are not activated.
I think it will be activated on September 29th, so we'll have to wait until then.

Why, I say 4,000 PCMCIAs, they're probably the ones SES has from the competition it won years ago for "TDT Cantabra" (enter this in your browser). All the necessary materials and equipment were already prepared/purchased. The only thing I needed was to change the satellite, now on Astra 19.2ºE. Then they canceled it without starting, but they won the cancellation lawsuits, even for lack of profits. In other words, all this has already been paid for and dumped in some warehouse, and now they want to put it to use.
-----------------------------

To our Spanish friends:
Do you know where we can buy or order the CAM CI+ for the new Astra TV?
Thank you very much,
Ben

DTT is very well established in SPain, so that is probably some way off. I do think they intend to close down the 30 degrees west TDTSat though, probably in the next few years.

yes.... I wonderwhy they chose

I wonder why they have chosen 30W and not something between ,or near 13E and 19.E It hovers behind the main wall of my house,i would have to put a dish up there .... for the very few fta channels they have... to me a totally useless satellite! the wrong position for us living along the Greenwich meridian. And several channels from Spain are on 19E already.. . Between 7w and 13Ethere is next to nothing...

Because Cellnex (formerly Abertis) transmits from 30W and 34.5W longer than the Spanish package transmits from 19E, which changes owners every few moments.

We don't have Spanish DTT via satellite, if you want to understand that, fine; if we don't, we'll understand it just as well.
We confuse Spanish DTT with the broadcasts of the company Abertis Telecom to service the contract it has for terrestrial DTT repeaters throughout Spain.

These links were then used to provide signals to homes in areas where the repeaters were blocked, certified by an authorized installer, and then the joke was made and sold to everyone, as I saw in an English store using the legal loophole (for boats and motorhomes).

At the time, Hispasat was a satellite that was cheaper than many others and is the one used for these links, which can't be viewed with a "normal" receiver. I hope this is clear, otherwise it's nonsense.
I love reading that they broadcast on Hispasat for free, and all the other nonsense you want.
I repeat... we don't have Spanish DTT via satellite.

SES now provides this service using several Astra stations/frequencies at 19.2°E.
This is another story unrelated to Abertis Telecom's repeaters, as I don't know when the contract with them will end.

After reading the already active astratv.es website for those who subscribe to the service,
Just one limitation, which will be skipped by many who live outside of Spain.

The ASTRATV service is for non-commercial use at your home within Spain (including primary and secondary residences, vacation homes, and motorhomes).

P.S.: This may be a loophole: you buy it in Spain and then take it with you in your motorhome throughout Europe.
--------------------
