A fraction under lock here in North Nottinghamshire UK, started off at around 8.5dB this early morning - 8am ish, has risen to an un-steady 9.5dB maximum now at 11am UK - 2.2m PF with multi lnb changer in use.

Great starter reply MB, the full answer to cover every aspect of C band reception is - 'How long you got'
A well tuned 1.8 using decent lnbf & feed etc for reasonable to decent reception, go bigger if possible.
For signal reception , forgetting other equipment required to demod certain stuff etc, I'm on a well tuned and aligned 2.2mtr PF here, that's my maximum physical size i can go to for my property, i would say for my location North Nottinghamshire, i'm at the 85-90% level for catching all reception signals - a 2.4m would get me to about 92-93% level , a lovely 2.8/3mtr upwards would be ideal for me to get the very weak feed or out of footprint beams , but i can only dream
