Hi John, notice that Lyngsat show it as last noted in 2012 and KOS in 2008!

Contact of mine in Mexico says that he last noted it about three years ago and scanned in as 4196 H 4444 listed as 'Panamericana TV-5', channel and was from Peru.

Anyway....would be nice if you were to find something. View attachment 87349

¿Is it possible you could post a list of all the transponders you are locking on this sat?.........thanks.

Yep will do asap, it's only on a 1.8CM though. Have a 3.6mtr Precision coming soon ........... only kidding Martin :D:D:D

I was just going to pack a few things and pop over for a few days dam :(:D, how close are you to a lock John please ?, I might have a go with the 1.8.

.... well, C/N at the moment is 9.2 dB which normally would be ok, wondering if it's just an empty carrier at the moment. Iv'e only tried it on the TM- 5402 Mk3 which just skips over it .... but if i can find time tonight i'll try it on the 6983 card

As promised ....... seems a bit thin on Vertical. Both the 5402 Mk3 and the tbs 3983 card gave the same results.
1.8CM, JRC PLL lnb, Servo poloriser.

Thanks John for those......yes, Vertical always thinner amount.........scan this morning with the DVBSky USB gave 22 x H and 10 x V.

Best wishes, be safe. respect-048.gif

.... your more than welcome matey, and anybody else for that matter .... i don't go out as much now in the week since cutting down on my professional workload so could be quite easy to fit visits in etc . My sig might be a bit miss-leading thinking about it, i have only two systems running at the mo, a 1.2CM H-H roof mount job as in poor camera phone pic and the other is my 1.8 CM that's still in construction mode. I do have in the garage another 1.2 CM and a 1.2 Precision PF that is going to be for a dedicated fixed Ka set-up when iv'e finally got the 1.8 tweeked up :D

Love the 1.2 on the roof :)

Scan today shows:-

Lyngsat show 4092 H but bereft of details!....def was the same channel seen in September but then had an SR of 3040!

WOW, just ran across this thread, went to the menus and entered the info for this bird and swung the big dish to this satellite....And POP in comes the transponders....Man I thought that old super volcano was in the way but thanks to you all I now have a new due East satellite to play with.

My "Q" is about 65% with an SNR of 64%, I have about 8 transponders scanned in with maybe more to play with once the rain stops, I might be having wet vegetation signal problems as this one is almost flat to the ground for me.

Hi 'Terryl'.......hope all is good with you.
Note you say... 'signal problems as this one is almost flat to the ground for me'........¿Any chance when you have five minutes to post us a picture of the dish angle at the 55.5ºW and the actual frequencies you have managed to lock?

Thanks for that and be safe there. respect-048.gif

Hey Lovelyperson, here is a list of transponders that I have scanned in.

3715 H, S/R = 8892
3743 H, S/R = 2502
3939 H, S/R = 5421
4110 H, S/R = 5421
4111 V, S/R = 1849
4132 H, S/R = 4442
4136 H, S/R = 2001

And thats about it for right now, dish elevation is at 11 degrees, and I'm about a 1/4 inch from a hard stop on the actuator.

Here is a photo.

.........

Thanks for the quick response and pic 'Terryl'.............. a new one for me is your '4110 H, S/R = 5421'

Hope you will secure more locks on this sat.

Best wishes. respect-048.gif

Yah that's a strange one, I didn't think that they would stack transponders that close to each other, even with the H/V differences it should not be possible, I will check this out later as the rain is very heavy right now and I have lost a few.

I have switched in all the ground buses on all my antenna systems as we are going through some very heave hail and lightning right now, will have to report on this sometime tomorrow or next week.

OK weather cleared up, MAN what a storm, we even had a small tornado out in the central valley.

Now that the vegitation has had a chance to dry out I redid a blind scan on this bird, I now have 21 transponders with about 44 channels, some are encrypted, and most I can't understand.
