Does anybody know what the pin connections are for the esata socket on the latest TM6902 T2 Combo
I want to use a 1TB sata drive but not sure where the power for the drive needs to come from.
1. Used with my TM6900 OSD Gives me directional indication and whether the dish has reached either of its limits, or hasn't responded to a DiSEqC comand as before I had to keep going outside to check position.

Only coax from back of garage routed to house under upstairs floor to lounge, no access or cable for actuator. Her indoors will not have cables visible.
All parts for home made V box from spares box, so didn't need to buy one

I have connected to my TM 6900 Combo an Iomega 160GB USB HDD (Model No. LPHD160-U) which has been flawless in operation both on record or playback with either HD or SD source.
What have you used on your TM for recording and is there a size limit it will cope with as I need more storage...
whether is is a good move or not we will have to see, could be another potential place for 'Big Brother Watching Software, to be included in the BIOS or UEFI as they are calling it now.
