Thanks! I'll try it!
Hello Stevenvc19, I have the same conclusion as Stephan; but here in south-east of Liège). It will be better with a big one.

Look at this printscreen 2 weeks ago !

Only 1,5 dB bonus with a 90 cm dish on Express-AM8. (clear sky and fresh) ;)

I tried to tweak the position a bit but didn't get any signal on those other two t2mi transponders.
not that I'll miss those channels. ;-)

Nothing from the T2MI transponders? On the Primo they scan in with MTS = On, then manual scan the transponder for TV only.

Its a good afternoon to scan 14W - Ive pulled in RT Arabic on the low symbol rate for the frst time. 11120H 3590 tagged as Synterra. Its weak & breaking up badly, but its there.

(Offset lnb on 80cm dish aimed at 22W)

while trying to get 14w ,
I noticed that pressing up the LNB arm upwards increases signal,on Al Manar and the RT bunch...any reason?

Which of your 2 dishes & LNBs are you using?

Find the ESPN services on 15W first - they are much stronger than the 14W stuff

the simple moveable 80cms...
In which case I might suspect the monobloc as being the possible cause because the internal alignment of the 2 LNBs in a monobloc is often a compromise to get acceptable performance on both of the intended satellites, i.e.:
- the LNBs are set slightly to either side of the feedarm, and not directly in line with it and the focal point of the dish
- both LNBs locations are somewhat compromised interms of the fixed elevation & skew of each one in order to simultaneously get the "best" performance on both the intended satellites.

Therefore, in your case for 14W, the elevation of the selected LNB may be slightly too low when the dish is pointed at that sat, and thus the signal strength may improve when you, as you did, push the feedarm slightly upwards.

MSNBC disappeared from 15W quite some time ago, so KingofSat is out of date!

BTW: Al Manar on 14W is actually fairly strong, so, hopefully, you should be able to find that (bearing in mind what I said in the previous post).

PS: It looks about time you got a motor to make your dish steerable to solve a lot of the issues you appear to have (and give your a few more, but "new to you", ones!). Have you tried looking for a "used" one on ebay or one of the free-to-seller & buyer websites in your area??

well, not yet, since I basically can receive what im interested in
We live in a prettywindy area, very few people round here seem to use motors
Then,I could enquire with 2 galli, who live not very far from here, see what they think
Another point is,there are obstacles that impair my reception beyond 33E or 15W,so my access is limited to 15Wto 33E;no 42 or 52E for instance!

Thank you very much for such a detailes answer. I will try shifting to the other LNB
Some time ago,I got the 16E very nicely just by adjustio=ng my reception that way.

These ones are too weak for 1.2 dish in Scotland. I am getting idents and badly breaking up picture on 12647 V.
Other Russian channels coming through loud and clear on other frequencies listed in above posts

12647V is the strongest of the T2MI transponders here in north east England (CM 1.2m) :confused

Not 12647 => 11647
Thanks, 11647V is correct, the other two T2MI TPs are weaker here probably due to interference from data transponders on 15°W but still an easy catch with a 1.2m dish.
