I wanted to message the ebay watchers, but ebay will only let you put a LOWER price in the offer (10% lower I think) that is then binding. I did not want to do that so raised the price today so I can message them all tomorrow, no doubt a few of the guys on here will get the offer tomorrow. I have 655 views and 24 watchers and had numerous messages saying why are you selling, isn't it great etc. etc. but not one offer yet. When It's gone (sold or scrap) I'll share with you where it came from, you'll never believe where! Cheers
It came from Masons Road, the work site of Precision Antennas. It might have been sold to a client with interesting provenance but that is ancient history.
Provenance can obviously add value but it depends on the artefact and the provenance. I am not sure if it applies to satellite dishes that were manufactured by the hundreds, possibly thousands?
If some toby offers you £300 for it take it, the guys on 'ere are clued up and been watching the price go up and down, they not easily caught on the hook.
As for eBay, you can always cancel the listing and create a new listing with appropriate pricing.
I will offer you £200 delivered for it, just to give it a home. If you have any affection for the dish it might be worth considering low ball offers from people offering it a good home.
It will get regular baths and be well cared for.
