Hi, is anyone getting the mbc channels 10731 V 45000 please, I used to be able to lock them when conditions were good, but I haven't had a sniff at them for a long while now :(.

They changed the beam I think paul when the MBC channels fired up ?, and they were a hard catch on the 1.2, but I could get them now and then, they went FTA a few weeks back, but I cant get a sniff at them now,

A great night for dxing here tonight, but I am getting nothing, along with all the other nice evenings i've tried :(.

Beware though - I think you really need a TBS 6925 for multi stream transponders - normal cards like my old TBS 8920 don't work :(

You only need something like the TBS6925 to view these Multistream channels but a standard receiver should still pick up the signal, I have a funny feeling that these channels have swapped Footprint

I do not have any tv card and all MBC channels on 10731 V 45000 2/3 (DVB-S2 8PSK) on 21.6E open without any problem. Free to air...

Interesting.

Maybe the high SR is a problem >>> I'm pretty sure my Skybox F3 can't cope with 40000+ (I did once try it with the BBC Feeds on 27.5W).

But will have a look .........................

Edit: Nada. Zilch. Not a sniff.

Thanks all :), the old mux at 10731 was very easy to catch for me on a 1mtr dish, so they must have changed footprint as digi says,

My pci card will open the multi streams but it looks like this is not the case (PCIe-TV SkyStar 2 eXpress HD) yes looks like you have something there CJ, I will keep having a look, thanks again:),

Something not right I had another go at these channels just now with my DB 8000, Yesterday I used my DB 800se...saw nothing and left it at that...now (just now) I saw MBrincat thread and went straight to my DB8000 and viola they there were (Dish 1.2).
The Snr is a bit low 46% though.

Something not right
yes indeed.. According to crazyscan the mux is signalled as ACM/MIS (only a one input stream active). If you check the mux with TSReader the mux rate is 28,5Mbps whereas a carrier with 45000MS, 8PSK, 2/3 yields 54Mbps. No problem with TBS5/6925 but how is that possible with a DB8000?
