The Titanium is a very good choice. Don't replace it.

Hi Feedsat.....yes I used the ESX241 with the following scan, the Titanium at times makes me ¿¿¿???....but the 241 seems to behave better on a consistent basis......probably just me (or definately) .OK, great, yes, with small antennas it's better to remove the plate, you lose about 3dB (and more dB with the titanium LNB , don't ask me why)

Like empb I have been working on a C band project myself - using my old IRTE 1.5m antenna and Titanium C1W-PLL LNB.
I have quite a nice selection of satellite positions from 40E to 40W, on C band, looking to add 55.5W, this seems interesting indeed, would there be a recommendation of good strong signal to enable me to find it ? I see quite a few mentioned in the thread.... Im assuming my 1.5m will be large enough of course.

Just an update, no luck for me as yet with 55.5W. Have modified feed support I'm installing today will move the LNB and feedhorn back little. 40W comes in very well, Im wondering if my issue could be trees :-( or possibly my polar mount slightly out at the extremes.
Going west from 40W what would be the next one to check for ? Looks few options...

I can only get 55W in the winter, due to a tree blocking my view.
Re 40.5W the tree also blocks my view in the summer. But to get around this I use an ISS 1m fixed with a titanium C-1 Pll. And is a very easy catch.
